The SmartText column in your table gives you the ability to easily write text, format it, and by inserting a field value in TimeTonic, you can contextualize a template based on specific data from your table.

➡️ A SmartText preview appears when you hover over the column field, offering a glimpse.

• Double-click on it to open the field
• Click on the zoom icon

🔧 Editor Features

Structure and format your information in SmartText:

1️⃣ Text font 'A' : Choose from different fonts and text sizes to personalize the appearance.

1️⃣ Heading tags '#' (H1, H2, H3, etc.) : Structure your content with heading tags to define different levels of hierarchy.

2️⃣ Bold 'B' · italic 'I' text: Highlight your words with the ability to make them bold or italic.

2️⃣ Markdown editor </>: Format with Markdown syntax for stylizing the line.

2️⃣ Underline U · highlight U · strikethrough 'U̶' : Underline or strike through text for special emphasis.

3️⃣ Hyperlinks 🔗 : Embed links to direct readers to other resources.

3️⃣ Insert field value $ : Include data from table fields.

4️⃣ Quotes " · code blocks </> : Frame quotes or code snippets to make them stand out.

4️⃣ Create a table: Use the dedicated option to add a table and organize your data in a structured way.

4️⃣ Insert an image 🌁: Insert an image URL or integrate an image from a file attachment column in the table.

5️⃣ Separator line : Visually separate different sections or content.

5️⃣ Line break ⏎ : Create a line break.

6️⃣ Numbered lists 🔢 · bullet lists  ⏺️ : Organize information with numbered or bullet lists.

6️⃣ Text alignment : Adjust text alignment to your preference.

7️⃣ Text colors : Add color to your words for visual impact.

8️⃣ Remove formatting : Remove active text formatting in the editor.

9️⃣ Action navigation: "Undo" to go back to the previous action and "Redo" to move forward to the next action.

• Using $ syntax: Integrate the value of a field using the "$" syntax followed by the field name.

ℹ️ Example: if you have a field named "client", you will enter it as $client.

• Dynamic repetition: Take advantage of TimeTonic's ability to apply this insertion to all elements of a field of type 'Link to another table', ensuring consistent updates.
• Double-click on the added value element to see the indent icon (see image 'off 🔘')
• Click on it to activate the indentation of elements below each other in the consolidated view. (see image 'On 🔘')

• Highlight the inserted dynamic value element
• Apply text formatting using the editor options.

🪄 Insert field value '＄' in a table

This feature can be used in a table as well as in a list.

ℹ️ for example:

· Insert a table on two lines

· Integrate your values into each field

· Activate the icon on each to indent the values.

• Consolidated view: Get a consolidated view of all selected field data, offering an organized and contextual representation in your template by selecting the 👁️‍🗨️ preview view.

1️⃣ Insert an attachment column in the table "with or without an image in the field"

2️⃣ Click on the image icon in the editor to get the configuration window

3️⃣ Click on "Choose an image"

➡️ A second configuration window opens

4️⃣ Select an attachment column

5️⃣ + add an image from your computer files or select an image from those available below from your attachment column 

↕️ Sort and select the image presentation mode to facilitate your search

6️⃣ Click “Confirm” to insert it

➡️ In the editor:

7️⃣ Adjust the dimension by dragging the 🟦 at the corners of the image with your mouse,

then align the image in SmartText by clicking on the alignment icon choice available.

 

Tips  💡 CTRL + S to save your integration whenever you want to save your entry   🔗 Associate the SmartText column with a Permanent Link, in order to share it for distribution or to insert it in a SmartPage.
