Credit Quotas and Features by Plan
| FREE | START | PRO | BUSINESS | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Private AI credits / month | → | → | 1,000,000 | 10,000,000 |
| Public cloud AI credits / month | 10,000 | 100,000 | 1,000,000 | 10,000,000 |

Personal API Key (BYOK): available on all plans. If you use your own API key, no TimeTonic credits are deducted: billing is managed directly by your AI provider.
Basic rule: 1 TimeTonic AI credit = 1,000 tokens. Private AI and public cloud AI each have their own monthly quota: the two counters are independent.
To obtain additional credits, you can purchase packs (available starting with the Business plan). The limit is updated directly by TimeTonic.
Creating additional users does not increase your credit quota.
Track Your Usage
Go to the notebook Administration → Plan and Billing to view your credit status in real time. You have two independent counters depending on the AI source used in your automations:
Private AI credits usage
Credits consumed by your automations using private & secure AI → models deployed on TimeTonic infrastructure in France. This counter is independent of your public cloud quota.
Public cloud AI credits usage
Credits consumed by your automations using public cloud AI → OpenAI, Mistral, Anthropic, Google, and other models. This counter is independent of your private AI quota.
Each counter displays the current month's usage and updates in real time with each AI automation execution. When 100% of the quota is reached on either counter, the corresponding AI actions are disabled until the monthly renewal.
Automatic consumption alerts
TimeTonic sends you an automatic email when your AI credit consumption reaches the following thresholds:
Example: 2,553 / 500,000 means that 2,553 credits have been used out of the 500,000 allocated to your plan.
The gauges change according to the current month's usage level:
- 🟢 Green → less than 80% of your credits have been used this month.
- 🟠 Orange → 80% of your credits used. A preventive alert email has been sent to you.
- 🔴 Red → 100% reached. Your AI actions are disabled until the quota renewal. A notification email has been sent to you.
Example: if your plan includes 500,000 credits and you have used 420,000, the gauge shows 84% and turns orange.
💡 Personal API Key (BYOK): if you have entered your own API key in an automation's configuration, no TimeTonic credits are deducted. Billing is then managed directly by your AI provider (OpenAI or Mistral).
Counter Operation Rules
Before each automation, TimeTonic checks if the account has available credits.
After each automation, the used credits are deducted asynchronously.
If the balance becomes negative, AI automations are automatically blocked.
The counter is reset every month.
What Happens If Your Credits Run Out?
When your credit quota reaches the maximum limit set by your license, automations involving AI are suspended until the monthly reset or additional credits are added.
