Yes. Your API key is securely stored by TimeTonic so that you do not have to re·enter it each time you use it.
Here is how it is protected:
Encrypted storage
Your key is stored in the TimeTonic database in
encrypted form.
It can only be decrypted by the application itself → it
is
never accessible in plain text, not even by the TimeTonic team.
Use limited to your automations
The key is used only to run your AI actions within
the scope
of your TimeTonic automations. It is never shared or transmitted
to third parties.
Masked display in the interface
Once saved, your key appears masked in the configuration
form
(for example: sk-...38E). To modify it, click
the pencil → the key will be erased and must be fully re·entered.
💡 If you think your key has been compromised, revoke it directly from your provider space (OpenAI, Mistral AI) and enter a new key in TimeTonic.
