Used in a formula column, the WEEK_ADD() function adds a number of weeks to a date-type column and returns a new date. It is used to calculate deadlines in weeks: follow-up date at W+2, next weekly review, end of a trial period.
Syntax
WEEK_ADD(date_column, number_of_weeks)

Examples
Shift a date by several weeks
The formula returns the date shifted by 2 weeks.
WEEK_ADD($Date, 2)
The end date is the sum of the start date and the duration.
Tip: for shifts in days, months, or years, use DATE_ADD(), MONTH_ADD(), or YEAR_ADD() respectively.
