TimeTonic now offers you the possibility to import your data yourself.Â
Â
💡 Your file must be in CSV UTF-8 format
Â
Process
To do so, click on the table option
Â
Â
A first screen appears:
Â
Follow the instructions in the previous image, a new window appears, this is the mapping of the data from the CSV file and the table fields in TimeTonic.Â
Â
Â
You will find various useful information and options there :
Â
Selected tableÂ
Indicates on which table the data will be imported, here it is the "Sites" table.
Â
Selected file
Indicates which CSV file will be used for the import, here "CUSTOMER DATABASE TTC VAGUE 16 BIS.csv".
Â
CSV column
Indicates the columns present in your CSV file.
Â

indicates a preview of the data in the CSV column in question.
Â

Drop-down menu containing all the fields available in the selected table.
Â
Use the unique key defined in TimeTonic
Check this option if you want the import to be based on the unique keys defined in TimeTonic
Â
Unique key
Checkbox to define this data as the value on which your import is based.
If the data you import from your CSV file already exists in TimeTonic, the row will be updated, if it doesn't, the row will be created.
Â
It is up to you to make the link between the CSV columns and the TimeTonic fields:Â
For example here, your column "refclient" in the CSV file corresponds to the field "#" which is of type autonumber. My data in the "refclient" column and my "#" being unique data, I can use it as an import key.Â
Then assign the other columns of the CSV file to the columns of the TimeTonic table and click "OK" at the end of the page.
A new page appears :Â
Â
Â
Click on Start Import.
You can pause the import at any time by clicking on Pause Import and decide to resume the import with the Resume Import button if needed. Â
