Your AI credit quota is renewed every month according to your plan. Here is what happens when you reach the limit and how to respond.
Track your consumption
Regularly check the status of your credits from the Administration → Plan and Billing section to anticipate an overrun before the end of the month.
Two independent counters are displayed: one for private AI, one for public cloud AI.
You have used 80 % of your AI credits: what should you do?
When your consumption reaches 80 % of your monthly quota, TimeTonic automatically sends you a preventive alert email. You still have 20 % of your credits available · this is the right time to assess whether you will make it until the monthly renewal.
If your usual consumption allows you to make it to the end of the month, no action is required. Your quota will be automatically reset at the beginning of the following month.
Available from the Business plan.
Available on all plans. By configuring your own OpenAI or Mistral AI API key in your automations, you can keep operating without consuming TimeTonic credits. Billing is then managed directly by the provider.
You have used 100 % of your AI credits: what should you do?
When your quota is fully exhausted, TimeTonic sends you a notification email and automatically disables all automations that rely on AI.
To reactivate your AI automations, you have three options:
Your quota is automatically reset at the beginning of the month. AI automations resume without any action on your part.
Available from the Business plan. Your credits are reloaded immediately and your AI automations resume without delay.
Contact the sales team to discuss upgrading your plan.
Special case: personal API key (BYOK)
If you use your own API key in your automations, no TimeTonic credits are consumed. Exhausting your monthly quota does not affect these automations: they continue to run normally, provided that your API key is valid and your provider account is active.
