In TimeTonic, artificial intelligence features are available within the actions of your automation scenarios. This is where you choose your AI source, your model, and write your instructions. Depending on your license plan and the AI source used, this may consume AI credits.
This guide covers everything you need to know to use AI with full visibility:
- How credits work
- What your plan includes
- How to monitor your consumption
- How to estimate your needs before deploying an automation
The three available AI sources
AI credits included by plan
The volume of credits available each month depends on your subscription. Here is what each plan concretely includes.
* When you create your account, a 30-day Trial plan gives you access to the features and credits of the PRO plan. Once the trial period ends, your account automatically switches to the FREE plan. The two counters (private / public cloud) are independent.
Trial * β 30 days from account creation
Full access to the features and credits of the PRO plan for 30 days.
- 1,000,000 Private AI credits / 30 days
- 1,000,000 Public Cloud AI credits / 30 days
- Both counters are independent.
- After 30 days, the account automatically switches to the FREE plan with no AI credit rollover.
Free
10,000 Public Cloud AI credits / month, provided to discover and test AI automations.
- No Private AI credits included.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Start
100,000 Public Cloud AI credits / month.
- No Private AI credits included.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Pro
First plan giving access to both AI sources:
- 1,000,000 Private AI credits / month
- 1,000,000 Public Cloud AI credits / month
- Both counters are independent.
- Dedicated AI server not available on this plan.
Business
The most comprehensive plan, with access to all AI sources:
- 10,000,000 Private AI credits / month
- 10,000,000 Public Cloud AI credits / month
- Both counters are independent.
- Access to the dedicated AI server Β· your models, on your infrastructure, with no credit consumption.
- Additional credit packs can be purchased if needed.
Personal API key (BYOK): available on all plans. If you use your own API key, no TimeTonic credits are deducted β billing is handled directly by your AI provider.
Basic rule: 1 TimeTonic AI credit = 1,000 tokens. Private AI and Public Cloud AI each have their own monthly quota β the two counters are independent.
To obtain additional credits, you can purchase packs (available from the Business plan). The limit is updated directly by TimeTonic.
Adding more users does not increase your credit quota.

Monitor your consumption
Go to Administration β Plan and Billing to view the real-time status of your credits. You have two independent counters depending on the AI source used in your automations:
- A counter for Private AI
- A counter for Public Cloud AI
Each counter displays current month consumption and updates in real time with each AI automation execution.
π‘ Only the license owner has access to the Administration β Plan and Billing space.
They can, however, invite other users to this space by assigning them the Admin or User role, allowing them to view consumption and billing data. Check this space regularly to anticipate quota overruns before the end of the month.

Estimate your consumption
Before launching an automation, you can estimate how many credits it will consume. The cost of each model is displayed directly in the model selector Β· simply combine it with the volume of text you send and the expected response length.
