The MULTIPLY (*) operator multiplies two or more numbers together and returns their product. It is useful for calculating quantities, prices, or areas. It returns a number.
Syntax

Examples
Multiply two numbers
5 multiplied by 4 gives the product of the multiplication.
5 * 4
Result: 20. Likewise, 6 * 3 returns 18.
Calculate an area
If the length is 10 m and the width is 5 m, the area is 10 * 5 = 50 m².
