CSV Export
You can export your pivot table to a CSV file in the same way as you would export a classic table.
Here is an exercise to help you.
Grouping
If your structure allows it, you have the possibility to group your lines.
Example
We want to set up a pivot table of contracts per team member.
For this we have a team table which allows to assign contracts to a team member.
In the team table, the members are sorted according to their category.
In the TCD, we have the possibility to group the contracts by members and by category.
When we configure the table, if I fill in team member in the row, a new space will appear to select the grouping "N+1".
The result shows the team members grouped by category:
Filters
You can filter the values you want to display in your Pivot Table.
To do this, you have two options : apply a filter on the rows or on the columns or both.
Example
Here we have a Pivot Table with the invoice numbers in the rows, the invoice dates in the columns and the invoiced companies in the values.
I have previously filtered the columns of the DCT so that it only shows me the dates where I have an invoice.
Process
The parameters are located in the red box on the following image :
The left button is for row filters.
The right button is for column filters.
The column setting for the example is as follows :
We can see that we can uncheck the values we are not interested in or define a range of dates so that all the days with or without values are displayed :
Here is the rendering :
You can apply the same logic to the line settings options.
Of course, TimeTonic offers you the possibility to enter data directly from the Pivot table either by creating a new record via the button or by entering data directly into the Pivot table (ideal for entering timesheets for example!)
