Export with your Word template

In a Word document, enter the sync code of the column whose data you have chosen to export as follows:

${column_code}

 

 

Note that the column name must be the sync code of the column in TimeTonic. A sync code has the following characteristics:

• Does not contain any accents.
• Spaces are replaced by the _ symbol (underscore).
• The column name does not contain a / (slash).
• It is unique, i.e. there are not several identical column names.

Note : You can refer to a column of a linked table by adding a dot and then the sync code of one of the columns of the linked table. For example, to access the "First name Last name" column of the client linked to the contract table : 

${client.firstname_name}

Insert this formula in your Word template, as many times as desired :

Import your template into TimeTonic

 

From Timetonic, you have 2 ways to import a template 

• From a form
• From the Share button

From a form

1. Open a file

2. Click on the icon at the top right of your record and then on Share

 

 

3. The following window will appear. You can add your template by clicking on Edit template list 

 

 

From the Share button

Click on the Share button and Export all lines with a template

 

 

The following window will appear. You can add your template by clicking on Edit template list 

 

 

Generate your template with data

 

You can generate your templates in 3 ways : 

• From a form
• From an automatic document field
• Export all the visible rows of the view with a template

From a form

1. Open a form

2. Click on the icon at the top right of your form and then on Share

 

 

3. The following window will appear. All you have to do is select the template from which you want to generate your document.

 

 

From an Automatic Document field

Export all visible lines of the view with a template

Click on the Share button and Export all lines with a template

 

 

The following window will appear. All you have to do is add and select the template from which you want to generate your document. 

 

 

All visible rows in the view will be exported from this template

 

Your form is now exported with your template and is available in the messenger of the workspace just for you :
