The main difference between a standard pivot table and an editable pivot table is that the latter allows users to modify the data inside the table.
This can be useful to correct errors or to add new data that was not included in the original table.
It is particularly practical for:
- enter timesheets
- allocate resources on schedules
- manage statuses
- manage expenses or financial data
- etc.
To create an editable Pivot Table, create a Pivot Table and set the calculation mode to editable.
