The Column from a linked table column displays, in your table, a value taken from a linked table through a Link to another table column. If you know Excel, this is the equivalent of a VLOOKUP.
Create the column
In the table where you want to display the data, insert a new column and choose its type.
Example: in a Talents table, a Link to another table column points to the Staff register. The Column from a linked table column can retrieve the Status column from it.
Options
Two options are available when the column is created.
The result
Once inserted, the column automatically shows the retrieved value, with no re-entry. If the data changes in the linked table, the column updates.
