TimeTonic lets you receive and send your emails directly from your workspace. Centralise all your exchanges with colleagues, partners and clients, then link them to a CRM, your projects or your files.
Prerequisite. Connecting a mailbox requires two-step authentication. For a Gmail mailbox, you will need to generate an app password. For a Microsoft 365 mailbox, authorisation from your administrator may be required.
Connecting takes three steps: add the module, set an encryption password, then fill in the accounts to link.
1
Add the Emails module
From your workspace, click Add or import a new table, then select the Emails module.
2
Set the encryption password
This password unlocks the encrypted field where you will enter your mailbox password. Keep it safe: it protects your credentials.
3
Fill in your email accounts
Enter the address, the password and the IMAP and SMTP servers, then validate the configuration.

Fill in the email accounts you want to link to TimeTonic.

Optional fields (SMTP relay or Microsoft 365)
8LoginLogin identifier (Microsoft tenant).
9Account modeThree modes: Receiving Only, Sending Only, or Receiving and Sending.
Fields 8 to 11 are optional. They are used for advanced cases: setting up an SMTP relay (with Brevo or Mailjet for example) for high-volume sending, or using a specific account managed in your Microsoft tenant.
Finally, click Configure Email and check your details, then Save and Connect.
Valid configuration. You get “Email reception OK” and “Email sending OK”. An invalid configuration shows “KO” in the Errors field.
If you get “KO”. Check your details again, paying attention to stray spaces in the password. If the error persists, contact your mail administrator to unblock receiving or sending.
Synchronisation is one-way: emails are imported from your mailbox into TimeTonic. An action in TimeTonic never changes your original mailbox.
Receive your emails
Find all your received emails in the Emails table, and your contacts in the Email contacts table. Then link them to your existing data, for example to view the history of exchanges directly from your CRM.
Send your emails
Use the Emails module like a classic email application: send a new email, reply, reply all or forward. The Rich Text editor lets you format your messages, and the Attachments field lets you add attachments. You can also click Save and quit to keep an email as a draft.
