Email

The Email field lets you enter an email address and send an email from TimeTonic to your default mailbox (Mail on Apple, Outlook on Windows). Combined with the Emails module, it also lets you sync and manage your emails directly in your workspace.

Synchronisation behaviour

One-way

Emails are imported from your mailbox into TimeTonic. No change made in TimeTonic affects the content of your original mailbox.

Deletion

An email deleted in the mailbox before it is synced will not be retrieved. Once synced, deleting it in the mailbox does not affect the copy imported into TimeTonic.

Initial synchronisation

On the first sync, TimeTonic imports emails starting from the oldest unread email, then all following ones regardless of their read status.

Continuous synchronisation

After initialisation, retrieval of new emails continues regularly, even when they are marked as read.

You thus keep a history of your emails in TimeTonic without affecting how you manage your emails from your original mail client.

The configurator sets the field's behaviour; the editor is the user-side input.
