The Create Form View allows you to offer a simple and clean form for creating new records in a TimeTonic table.
Users only see visible fields, fill in the form, and then validate the entry.
Each form generates a shareable link, enabling quick data entry without direct access to the table.
How it works
The form displays only fields configured as visible
The layout is customizable
Upon submission, a new record is automatically created in the table
The form is accessible via a dedicated view
Do not confuse the create form with the external form.
To edit existing records, you must use the External form.
Create a new form view
Here are the steps to use this feature:
- To create a form view for a table, go to:
- Click on ➕ next to the view tab(s) on your table to create a new view
- In the window, name your new view
- In the horizontal bar option, click on the view type icon
, to open the available views selection window.
- Click on the "Form view"
Advanced form configuration (WYSIWYG editor)
Advanced customization of the form (containers, sections, steps, groups, styles and behaviors) is done through the WYSIWYG form editor.
