The Calendar View 📅 in your table allows you to visualize your data in a calendar format, facilitating the management and organization of your events according to specific dates.
⚙️ Calendar View
1️⃣ Access the Calendar View: In the view options of a table to switch to calendar display.
2️⃣ In the view mode window, Select Calendar View 📅
3️⃣ Click on "Save View"
🛠️ Configure the Calendar View
Click on Configure Calendar in the right options bar to customize the view according to your needs.
Fill in the form fields:
1️⃣ Title: Choose a field from your table to serve as the title for each event.
2️⃣ Start Date 🕒: Select a Date 📅 field to define the start of your events.
3️⃣ End Date 🕓: Select a Date 📅 field to define the end of your events (optional).
4️⃣ Color 🎨: Customize your events with colors based on a Selection 🎛️ field (optional).
5️⃣ Sync events in the view with the global calendar
This integrates the events from your workspaces into the global calendar.
➡️ Configuration with the global calendar:
6️⃣ Select a participant list for the events in your calendar (User IDs of participants, separated by commas; can be text, link, or linked table column).
7️⃣ Select your time zone.
8️⃣ Check the box ✅ to sync with the global calendar.
➡️ Click the "Save with View" button
🎛️ Available views 🔄:
➡️ The Calendar View 📅 is automatically updated according to your table's data. Modify your fields in real time and see the changes directly in the calendar.
➡️ Time view options:
- Month
- Week
- Day
- Business Hours (8h)
🎛️ Dynamic uses of the view:
➡️ Drag and drop: Easily move your events in the calendar using drag and drop to reposition an event.
➡️ Adjust the layout: Stretch or shorten the event's time range in the calendar to adjust its duration using the small ↓ handle that appears when hovering at the bottom center of the element.
➡️ Create with a double-click: Double-click on an empty space in the calendar to create a new event. A form will open to allow you to add the necessary details.
➡️ Open the record with a single click: Click once on an element to open its record.
➡️ Right-click for additional actions: Right-click on an event to access the options to delete or duplicate the record.
